Courses with Numerus Clausus
Many degree Programmes at German universities are subject to entry restrictions, i.e. there are only a limited number of university places available. Some universities and universities of applied sciences have their own internal restrictions - a so-called 'numerus clausus' - for the courses offered. Six subjects are subject to restrictions at all German universities (see right-hand column in table below).

As a rule, 8-10% of courses with numerus clausus are reserved for applicants from non-EU countries.
