2004, Irina Haleck has been teaching German as a Foreign Language at the EURASIA Institute in Berlin. As well as teaching at all levels from A1 to C2 on the German courses, she looks after the planning and delivery of city tours of Berlin for the holiday courses at EURASIA.

Irina Haleck was born in Berlin and completed her History degree and teaching qualification at the Technical University.  After the first State examination, she shortened the waiting time for her trainee placement by undertaking an internship in the Theater des Westens (Theatre of the West), which developed into a permanent position in the marketing department.
As a freelance PR consultant and dramatic adviser she took part in a number of national theatre projects.  During this time, she regularly taught German to students and actors from abroad.  In 2004, she decided to return to her pedagogical roots and completed a certificate in Teaching German as a Foreign Language at the Goethe Institute.
