She completed a teaching degree in German Studies and German as a Foreign Language at the Free University in Berlin, as well as Musical and Aesthetic Child Development at the College of Arts (today, the University of the Arts) in Berlin.  She complete her probationary teaching practice in 2002 with the second State examination.

Since 2000, Saeeda Syed has been working freelance for the Educational Service in the  Ethnological Museum, one of the group of National Museums in Berlin for Prussian Cultural Heritage.  Her responsibilities include devising and delivering guided tours and workshops in the museum.

With her bi-cultural and musical background, she lays particular emphasis on phonetics and syntax in her German teaching; after all, grammar and syntax are rhythm and melody.

Making the right “sound” in a foreign language is the entry ticket to a new culture, and opens many doors onto the world.
