Specialised programmes for students of German studies

The EURASIA Institute offers themed seminars of interest to students and prospective teachers from abroad in the areas of German as a Foreign Language and German culture. The duration of the course is either one or two weeks, as preferred.

We tailor the programme to the particular needs of your group.

  • Option of attending German courses as an observer at elementary, intermediate and advanced levels

  • Excursions to places of particular cultural and historic interest in Germany

Included in the range of seminars we offer are those on teaching methods and didactics for German classes, teaching grammar and vocabulary and preparing for the DaF test. There are also workshops on techniques using mnemonics for learning German, and on the German article and sentence structure.

We also offer workshops on using the medium of German film in the classroom, as well as on selected eras of German history and literature, and geography. In addition, there is the option of a programme with a literary focus based around anniversaries of well-known German poets or around particular literary themes.
