A competent and motivated team of language teachers at EURASIA Institute prepares students and school pupils from all over the world for the following language certificates within the European framework: A1, A2, B1, B2, C1 and C2, as well as IELTS and TOEFL (English language certificates for entry to German universities).

Our language teachers are highly qualified and have many years of experience in teaching their respective languages. Moreover, all teachers have stayed abroad for longer periods of time and specialise in one or more foreign languages and cultures.

Apart from their valuable teaching skills in their language classes, our teachers are also well placed to support the course participants in their intercultural and day-to-day challenges.

Christopher W. Cotter M.B.A is one of our English teachers. He has worked in the USA, Canada, England and Germany.  Christopher was born in the western part of New York.  He has been living in Berlin for seven years and works on a freelance basis as an English teacher at the EURASIA Institute.  In addition, he works for companies such as Airbus Germany, TFH Wildau, two investment banks and Siemens.

Christopher W. Cotter has an American Bachelor's degree in Evolutionary Biology and a Dutch Master's degree in Ecomonics (MBA).  He has experience of working in the field of IT consultancy in New York and London, and has also taught natural sciences at middle school.

Since 2000 he has been working as a German teacher in Berlin and Hamburg. In his language courses he places particular emphasis on structured, communicative and student-oriented classes.  He makes use of both text books and authentic materials.  Through the use of longer, tried and tested listening exercises, he speficically trains linguistic accuracy, confidence and communicative skills.
